mind letters

recently i’ve been coming across letters. watched dear john and letters to juliet, write letter to future spouse ( one of the thing that we did during last saturday’s service), received online letters (email) from vanet and jazreel! :)

as i read, communicate, look around, reflect. these things came to my mind. haha, i call them mind letters that i re-read again and again in my mind recently :D

“dear peng,

set apart for Great purpose. though you do not understand sometimes and it may hurt. obey and embrace it, for God loves you and sees the bigger picture that you don’t. u will see the goodness come to pass. (i identified one after 5 years)

know who you truly are, just be yourself, get real with your bad self, don’t be somebody you’re not when you enter a new environment. food for thought from lisa ryan’s for such a time as this - ”do you feel that you have to…go to all the latest cool places with all the latest cool people who have all the latest cool stuff just to feel like you’re “somebody”?” you are cool by just being your true self

if God didn’t signal that we should give up on something that He’ve planned to put together for great purposes, who are we to give up? dispose each of our contact lenses( own judgement), put on Jesus’s spectacle, hold on to His promises. eph 4:11., act on it.

trust and hope. it will come to pass!

tough times as bags of testimonies - “He is not surprise with what you go through. He has gotten control of the whole situation, that all these would turn into great testimonies!” reminded by vanessa jewel choo :)
